SDGE Fire Weather Risk

This is an important safety message from SDG&E.

Forecasted high fire weather risk conditions [sdgeweather.com] could affect the power lines serving local communities.

SDG&E plans to activate its Emergency Operations Center to monitor high fire risk weather conditions which may force SDG&E to shut off power to reduce the risk of wildfire. The following communities may be impacted:
• Alpine
• Campo
• Campo Reservation
• Crestwood
• Descanso
• Julian
• Pala
• Santa Ysabel
• Santa Ysabel Reservation
• Valley Center
• Viejas Reservation
The estimated start time is overnight Thursday, November 26. We anticipate the event could last until Saturday, November 28, with power being restored around Saturday at 6:00 p.m.

Another notification will be sent when conditions change or if we shut off power for safety. For more information, please visit SDGE.com/Ready. Our new Public Safety Power Shutoff mobile App, Alerts by SDG&E, is also available for download for updates.
